Green Maps attractively outline eco-friendly resources in cities; there are currently around 300 such maps in production around the world. Edinburgh successfully produced a charity map last year which not only raised the level of donations and sales in charity shops, but also generated national press. We aim to duplicate this success for Glasgow.

This project is to make a Green Map for the city of Glasgow. The paper based version(more info coming soon) will be launched in April, concentrating on second hand shops and reuse resources across Glasgow. Soon after (September) the web based green map will be available at www.deargreenplace.net. This will encompass even more information on Glasgow’s green,cultural and social resources including parks, community centres, art galleries, charity shops and other green spaces.
